Technical Specifications for Ključna beseda (Keyword)

SMS on demand is communication between a service provider and Mobitel. The communication uses internet following HTTP or HTTPS protocols. They both provide safe data transfer. With HTTPS protocol Mobitel provides access certificate to the service provider.

Any user can send an SMS message with a keyword on the selected number (each service of service providers has its own keyword or a short number). Mobitel's system receives an SMS message of a user and converts it into incoming XML packet. Following HTTPS protocol and POST request method, the packet is sent to the internet address of the service server. The server processes the request and returns requested information as an outgoing XML package, which travels into Mobitel system. Mobitel system reads the information request and returns an SMS message to the user.

ASP Script
Mobitel's system receives user’s SMS message and converts it into incoming XML package. The package following HTTPS protocol and POST request method is sent to the internet address of the service server. The system processes the message and creates the requested information by using SMS application – ASP encryption. The requested information travels back as an outgoing XML package. After the system has read the information requested by the user, it is returned to the user’s GSM/UMTS phone. For better understanding we offer an example of ASP script - a simple SMS application, which runs on your service server. In this case, the service server is Microsftov IIS server.

SMS Emulator
SMS Emulator is a simple development tool, which emulates SMS messaging from a mobile phone to the SMS application. Messages sent by SMS Emulator are equal to the messages sent by the SMS application via M-vrata system. This means you do not have to send SMS messages from a mobile phone, you can use a local computer. You also do not use mobile network, which reduces SMS messaging costs. SMS Emulator is available in JAVA and can be used in Windows or Linux environment and other operational systems. You can set up the SMS Emulator on the computer to develop the SMS application.
