Technical Specifications for Poštar (Push SMS/MMS Service)

The document explains the communication between external companies and Mobitel via internet using HTTPS protocol, which provides safe data transfer. Mobitel provides access certificate to the service provider.

Poštar enables companies to send to their addressees formerly agreed and subscribed information. To use Poštar, the company needs its own IT system, internet access and internet server. The company must also develop an application, which complies with technical specifications.

The company sends an XML file with the data to Mobitel via internet. This file includes a list of phone numbers and messages to send to their users. After Poštar system has received the file, the company receives a confirmation that the file has been successfully delivered. Afterwards Poštar sends all information contained as an SMS and MMS message via Mobitel GSM/UMTS network.

SMS/MMS PUSH SDK

Environment: Windows(.NET)

SMS/MMS PUSH SDK is designed for SMS and MMS application developers, who use dotNET technology. Address space "Mobitel.SmsMmsPushSdk.Controls" contains visual components for SMS or MMS SDK for writing applications for SMS or MMS messaging via Mobitel's Poštar. Using DotNET components makes writing applications for Poštar much easier. These can also be used by less experienced or trainee programmers/developers.

Unix SDK for Poštar

Environment: Platform independent

PHP SDK for M:vrata is designed for PHP –developers of SMS applications. The program enables writing PHP applications for SMS and MMS messaging via Mobitel's Poštar. Demonstration examples are very simple applications using Poštar Service.

SDK is designed for PHP programmers and is computer-system independent. It can be used for simple SMS messaging via Mobitel's servers. We recommend to read Doc/start_sms_postar.html file documentation before use. Further information is available in API documentation, in the file Doc/ApiDoc. Documented examples are available in /examples file map.
