	Poštar (Push SMS/MMS Service) Use Poštar for SMS and MMS messaging to your addresses. You can use same or customized text for SMS and MMS messaging. MMS messages contain images, sounds, text and video contents. You can also set the time of sending yourself. To be able to send SMS and MMS messages to your addresses, you need their personal consent in writing or in another form.

Technical Information

Poštar is a communication between external companies and Mobitel via internet. The communication uses e-certificate and a safe HTTPS connection, which provides safe data transfer.

Poštar enables service providers to comunicate with users via Mobitel network through internet, following HTTPS protocol

Senders of SMS and MMS messages via Poštar are given a free-of-charge digital e-certificate, which enables access. Poštar enables companies to send to their subscribers formerly agreed and subscribed information. To use Poštar, the company needs its own IT system, internet access and internet server. The company must also develop an application, which complies with technical specifications.

The company sends an XML file to Mobitel via internet. This file includes a list of phone numbers and messages to send to their addresses. After Poštar system has received the file, the company receives a confirmation that the file has been successfully delivered. Afterwards Poštar sends information contained as an SMS and MMS message via Mobitel GSM/UMTS network.

How to Start Using Poštar (Push SMS/MMS Service)?

To use Poštar you have to conclude a cooperation contact with Mobitel. Your technical staff must obtain a digital certificate from Mobitel. The certificate enables e-signature of the sender and a safe data transfer between Mobitel and the provider's network. To use Push SMS/MMS Service an application must be developed, which complies with technical specifications.
